Description
Welcome to this beginner class on learning about Blender 3D, a free open-source modeling platform that allows you to create 3D objects of any shape and size.
In this class, we’re going to be introducing many of the core concepts of the blender software, ranging from basic navigation of 3D space to selecting 3D objects, editing them into various shapes and sizes, applying materials and textures to those objects, and even setting up our lighting and camera to render 2D images of our 3D scenes.
By the end of this class, you will have a basic understanding of the process of creating 3D objects and scenes using an application like Blender 3D.
The purpose of this class is to allow you to gain a clear understanding of the core concepts of using the Blender software, far beyond just creating simple 3D models, but also how the general process of the 3D artist works. In other words, it covers the process from start to finish in a simple, easy-to-follow format.
Each video focuses on a single idea or concept in 3D modeling acting as an introduction to that topic area.
This is a great starting point for learning about Blender because of all of the various topics that we cover in such a short space of time.
Who this course is for:
