Description

Everything you need to know about the Agile Scrum way of working will be taught to you in a very unique way in this class. The best way to learn about everything is to do it.

This is not the only thing you will learn. You will also learn how Agile Scrum is different from the Waterfall model of making software.

Software projects in any IT company will show us how Agile Scrum works in the real world.

Besides that, you’ll learn how different scrum teams work in your company, and how project management tools like Jira help you write user stories and other things.

Learn the following:

  • Our first meeting will be about the different meetings that take place in an Agile Scrum team. We will do those meetings and see how they work.

We will find out what a scrum team does in the next meetings:

  1. The daily standup or Scrum meeting
  2. Sessions of refinement or grooming
  3. Planning a sprint
  4. This is either a review or a demo of the Sprint.
  5. The meeting was a look back.
  • We will also figure out how long each meeting should be based on the heartbeat of the sprint.
  • After that, we’ll see who the people on a scrum team are.

We’ll also see what the roles are of:

    1. Stakeholder
    2. Product Owner
    3. Scrum Master
    4. Development team
  • People then learn about user stories and write them on the Jira tool, which is what we’re going to do next.
  • We’ll also learn what Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Sprint Board are, as well as how to use them.
  • Then, we’ll go ahead and look at some of the different reports that we can make from the Jira Tool, such as the Velocity chart and the Burndown chart.
  • In the next step, we will go to Daily standup, Refinement and Sprint Planning meetings. Then, we will review, review, and review again.
  • We will also learn how to estimate a user story based on the Fibonacci series.
  • As well, there will be a lot more, like how to use confluence and how to add and change tasks on the sprint board.
