Mastering the IT Networking Fundamentals: Full Course

In this course, you will become an expert in IT Networking Fundamentals. You will also learn how networking works in real life.

What you’ll learn

Mastering the IT Networking Fundamentals: Full Course

  • The basics of IT networking
  • Networks are groups of people who work together. They are also called “networks.”
  • Network addresses and how they work
  • Protocols are rules for the Network.
  • They are called OSI and IP.
  • Networks and subnets are called virtual networks and virtual networks.
  • Port Addressing and measures to keep the Port safe
  • There are a lot of things that make up the Internet.
  • You can make your own Virtual Home Lab.
  • Wireless Networking and the security of it

Requirements

  • A laptop or computer with an internet connection is what you need to play this game.
  • If you want to run virtual machines on your device, it must be able to do so.
  • I’ll show you how to do it step-by-step if anything needs to be added.

Description

This class is all about getting to know the basics of networking in the I.T. field and how networking devices and services work in real-world situations.

What will you learn during the course?

We’ll start with “What is a Network?” and then move on to “How the DNS works?” and “How the Subnets and VLAN work?”. During the course, you’ll also learn how to handle and set up the networking devices so that you can use them the way you want to.

We won’t stop there. Later in the course, you’ll learn how to use the wi-fi handshake to “crack the Wi-Fi security keys.”

When you finish this course, you will be able to:

  • In this lesson, we’ll learn about networks and the different types of networks that they can be:
  • There is a difference between Network Bandwidth and Latency.
  • how Bridge, Switch, and Routers connect to each other
  • An IP address is both a logical and physical address for a network.
  • There are a lot of different ways that Network Address Translation (NAT) works.
  • Subnets are part of a network for a reason.
  • When it comes to Collision and Broadcast Domains, what’s the difference between the two types of places?
  • How does Subnet figure out the Network and Hostnames?
  • Nmap can be used to scan ports.
  • The idea behind DHCP is that it will give you an IP address.
  • In the Domain Name System, how it works (DNS)
  • Virtual Home Labs can be set up on your computer.
  • People can connect to Wi-Fi and use Access Points.
  • Cracking a Wi-Fi password with the KRACK Attack
  • Putting Wi-Fi Security in place

and the list goes on and on…

Sure, write down the name of the subject on the left side of the page, and what you learned about it on your right side. In the old days, this is how I rinse and repeat my work: by hand!

In the end, you will be able to explain and clear up all the networking things for yourself and for people who need to know the basics. “Hey, do you know this?… or that??” I’ll be more than happy if you do the same thing I do and help people.
