In this course, you will learn about a pre-participation assessment for athletes with disabilities, a virtual assessment that will assist in the selection of appropriate selection of adaptive ski styles, and the refinement process I went through when creating and editing these assessments for the National Sports Center for the Disabled. This Udemy course contains lectures, resources, and research articles to support the need for a pre-participation assessment for athletes with disabilities. The development of this course is based on research conducted before the start of my doctoral capstone experience and it is further backed by evidence-based practices and clinical experience at the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
