Description
A well-tailored course for beginners and intermediate Python and Excel users who want to learn how to work with both Python and Excel at once. This video course talks about how to make, open, and change Microsoft Excel spreadsheets from inside Python. Learners will look at the Microsoft Excel object model and the properties of the worksheet cell object that can be used to make and change workbooks programmatically.
First, you’ll learn about VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) technology. Then, you’ll learn about how Python and its many libraries are becoming a popular choice for easy spreadsheet automation. Afterwards, you’ll find out how to use openpyxl (open pixel library), which is a Python library, to manipulate Excel’s object model from inside Python.
When you’re done, you’ll learn about how Python iterators and indexing can help you work with individual cells, whole ranges of cells, and whole rows or columns of cells.
