Understanding HTML and CSS

In this course, you’ll learn a lot about HTML and CSS, because we’ll go over how these technologies work. In this lesson, we’ll look at the problems HTML and CSS try to solve and how they solve them. When we talk about browser rendering engines, we’ll look into how they really work. In this class, we’ll learn how to read the HTML and CSS specifications, so we can keep our skills up to date.

Along the way, we’ll follow our main rule: “Don’t copy, learn.” You won’t be able to help yourself when you get a real-world job that doesn’t look like the projects you’ve copied. To be good at a job in the real world, you need to know everything.

This course is for people who want to learn from the ground up, but also for people who want to break bad habits.
