Introduction to Computer Architecture -RAHEE220

Make yourself an expert in computer architecture in two weeks and learn the skills you need to be a 21st-century expert in just that amount of time.

What you’ll learn

Introduction to Computer Architecture -RAHEE220

  • Understand the parts of a computer, like the ALU, MUX, and BUS, and how they work together.
  • Integer and binary conversions can be done.
  • Recognize pipeline hazards and come up with ways to fix them.
  • Understand what the CPU (Central Process Unit) is and how it works. This will help you learn more about it.
  • Know how RAM, ROM, and DRAM work.
  • Able to write MIPS code and run it with SPIM software.
  • Make sure you know how the parts outside of the computer work.
  • Have a good understanding of Special Purpose Registers.

Requirements

  • Logic Circuit is a good thing to have.

Description

In RAHEE220, we’ll learn about some of the most important and basic parts of computer architecture, like the ALU, the bus, and so on.

registers, memory configuration, computer pipeline, RAM, ROM, and DRAM, as well as integer and binary numbers, are some of the things that make up a computer’s registers, memory configuration, and computer pipeline.

A lot of things can happen during a conversion:

After taking this class, you will be able to understand the most important parts of computer architecture.

Computer pipelining, MIPS assembly language, and SPIM, which is a simulator for MIPS processes, are some of the things that are talked about in this text.

There are parts of a computer that are inside of the computer and outside of it that make it work. These include things like an ALU (arithmetic logic unit), RAM, ROM, and the CPU.

A unit, a monitor, a speaker, a microphone, and more are all in this group.

There is a quiz at the end of each chapter to see how much you know, and there will be a lot of exercises.

Throughout the course, you will have chances to practice and improve your skills.

It’s possible to take this course for a limited time, but you can look over the course topics at any time.

When it’s needed.

This class is taught by Bahman Sokhansanj. In general, he has a degree in that field.

Studies and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a teacher at Rahsoft.

A company with a focus on computer architecture

It’s part of the course:

  • When it comes to computers, there are a lot of different
  • Part of the CPU’s work:
  • Registers for Special Purpose
  • ALU
  • It also has settings for registers and memory.
  • The computer has a lot of space.
  • Instruction Set Architecture. • Instruction Set Architecture. • Instruction Set Architecture.
  • Programming for MIPS is also important.
  • At this point, we’ll talk about how to change between integers and binary.
  • The Computer Pipeline.
  • Data Risks in Computers
  • A computer’s RAM and ROM are both important parts.
  • It’s a DRAM chip.
  • Parts of a Computer That Are Outside
  • Computer hardware and software, as well as other things

You will learn:

  • It is important to know how computers work inside. You should know things like the ALU, the MUX, the bus.
  • As well as being able to do integer and binary conversions,
  • Identify pipeline hazards and come up with ways to fix them.
  • Make sure you know what a CPU is and how it works.
  • Learn how RAM, ROM and DRAM work.
  • Able to write MIPS code and run it with SPIM software.
  • Learn how the parts of a computer that are outside of the computer work
  • Know how to use Special Purpose Registers

Who this course is for:

  • Students in electrical engineering.
  • Students in computer engineering.
  • Some students in software engineering.
  • Computer Science fans.
